Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drafter role based in Singapore. The Drafter prepares and updates technical drawings and layouts for power distribution, lighting, data communications, and electrical systems according to project specifications and standards. Daily responsibilities include interpreting engineer and consultant instructions, producing detailed CAD drawings, revising plans based on feedback, and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete. The role also involves coordinating with project teams, maintaining drawing records, and supporting tender, installation, and as-built documentation. The Drafter works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, compliant, and aligned with client requirements.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and ability to produce clear, precise electrical and building services drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting layouts, and basic data communications infrastructure within building and industrial environments.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret technical specifications, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, project managers, contractors, and consultants.
• Good organizational skills, including version control and documentation of drawings, revisions, and project files.
• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline; drafting certification is an advantage.
• Experience in the building, infrastructure, or energy sectors is beneficial, especially in distributor or project-based environments.
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
