Role Description The Program Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating educational and career counseling programs, including workshops, outreach activities, and community initiatives. The Program Coordinator will manage program timelines, logistics, and resources, and maintain clear communication with partners, participants, and internal teams. Daily tasks include monitoring program performance, preparing reports, updating documentation, and ensuring activities align with the foundation’s goals and regulatory requirements. The role also involves supporting research-related projects, assisting in data collection, and contributing to the continuous improvement of educational programs.

Qualifications

• Program and project coordination skills, including planning, organizing events, managing timelines, and handling logistics.
• Administrative and documentation skills, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and using office productivity software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, partners, and colleagues, both in writing and in person.
• Basic research and data collection skills, with the ability to support education-focused studies and program evaluation activities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect for diverse communities.
• Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
• Experience in educational programs, NGO work, community development, or counseling-related activities is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language skills are beneficial.
• Willingness to work on-site in Shah Alam and occasionally travel for events or outreach programs.
• Holding PhD or minimum Master in related field (Business Management / Administration)
