Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, menus, and company standards.
• Handle daily food preparation for both restaurant operations and catering orders/events.
• Lead and coordinate kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
• Manage bulk food preparation and ensure dishes are prepared according to required quantities.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
• Assist with menu preparation and suggest improvements to dishes when required.
• Organise mise en place and ensure all ingredients are properly prepared before cooking.
• Monitor food quality and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Assist with catering preparation, buffet setup, packed meals, and large-scale food orders.
• Coordinate with the catering and service teams to ensure food is prepared and delivered on schedule.
• Monitor ingredient usage and assist with stock checking and inventory control.
• Minimise food wastage and ensure efficient use of kitchen supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
