Job Purpose
RS is a residential home for disadvantaged and disengaged youths with programmes catered exclusively to residents only and are those who are from dysfunctional families and in need of shelter; abused or neglected; in need of care and protection; under family guidance orders; and in conflict with the Law.
Job Responsibilities
To be attentive and look into the well-being of residents by being available and accountable for the residents' whereabouts when on duty.
To provide close supervision and maintain the residents' discipline in accordance with the daily programme.
To motivate and actively engage residents to participate in the daily programme.
To monitor the sick residents' condition on a regular basis.
To carry out any administrative work (timely and accurate event as in Duty Officer's reports.
To ensure that the Operations Centre is operational and ready for the next Duty Officer.
To maintain the discipline of the resident in consultation with the Executive Director, the Head of Residential Services, and other members of senior management.
To participate actively and take ownership of primary/secondary portfolios assigned by Head.
To support the implementation of the relevant model of care/ services in accordance with the needs and profile of the residents.
Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
O level/ Nitec/ Diploma
Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
Able to work independently and in a team, possess good interpersonal, communication and written skills.
Demonstrate emotional maturity and genuine passion for working with young people.
To display proactiveness in group discussions in enhancing the services provided to the residents.
Contract-to-permanent position
Three rotating shifts: 7.00 am–3.00 pm, 3.00 pm–11.00 pm & 11.00 pm–7.00 am
