Responsibilities
You will be involved in leading the planning and implementation of the baggage handling systems (BHS) for Changi Airport's Terminal 5, set to be one of the world's largest airport terminals when completed.
Job Description:
Oversee the planning, design, procurement, and implementation of BHS systems.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Explore and incorporate the latest innovations and technologies to deliver a world-class BHS solution for Terminal 5.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in industrial/systems planning Engineering or a related field.
Experience in managing large-scale projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
10 years of relevant experience in baggage handling or material handling systems is preferred.
Knowledge of the latest BHS technologies and trends is a plus.
This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
