Role Description The Lecturer in Finance is a full-time, on-site position based at the Sungai Long Campus in Selangor, Malaysia. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in finance and related areas, preparing teaching materials, and conducting tutorials, seminars, and assessments. The Lecturer will engage in curriculum development, ensure teaching aligns with current industry practices, and provide academic advising and mentoring to students. The role also includes participating in research activities, supervising student projects, and contributing to scholarly publications. In addition, the Lecturer will support departmental and university initiatives, attend meetings, and participate in academic and community engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance and Fintech, with the ability to teach and develop modules in these areas.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Finance and Fintech to support teaching and integration of financial concepts.
• Candidates should possess experience in Lecturing, including curriculum planning, classroom delivery, and student assessment.
• Candidates should possess Research skills, including the ability to conduct independent and collaborative studies and publish in relevant journals.
• Postgraduate degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Fintech, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and use appropriate teaching technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an academic team and contribute to departmental and institutional goals.
• Industry experience in finance or related fields, and familiarity with current regulatory and market developments, will be an added advantage.
