Job Summary
The Legal Associate will manage court case conferences and hearings, prepare legal documents, conduct legal research, analyze legal issues, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
Attend court for case conferences and hearings to represent client interests and support litigation processes
Prepare and draft legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide informed legal advice
Analyze complex legal issues to identify risks and recommend appropriate solutions
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues to facilitate case progress and collaboration
Organize and manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work
Apply strong analytical skills to interpret legal information and support decision-making
Required competencies and certifications
Admission to the Singapore Bar
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in legal document preparation
Experience in civil litigation, commercial, and corporate law
Proficiency in legal principles and issues
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
