MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Performance

• Assist the Department Manager in achieving monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Monitor daily sales performance and motivate the team to upsell and cross-sell effectively. Ensure accurate pricing, promotions, and product displays are implemented according to company standards.
• Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to improve product mix and sales strategies. Prepare comprehensive sales and performance reports for management review.
• Assist in the planning and execution of in-store promotions, events, and campaigns.
• Propose and organize promotional activities, including roadshows, to achieve sales and delivery targets while maintaining profitability.

Customer Service

• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and strong product knowledge.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent service quality and timely follow-up.
• Support the Customer Service Department (CSD) in handling complaints related to bedding products and services.
• Operational Excellence
• Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring cleanliness, effective merchandising, and stock availability.
• Support stock management activities, including ordering, receiving, and stocktake accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with store policies, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Identify slow-moving stocks and recommend effective strategies to improve their sell-through.
• Work closely with the warehouse on service location items and take appropriate actions to minimize stock levels.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and coach sales staff to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and service standards.
• Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Foster a positive and motivating team environment to achieve department goals. Train newly recruited staff in product knowledge and the proper use of the SAP system.

Reporting & Coordination

• Coordinate with the Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to monitor new arrivals and coordinate timely transfers for display.
• Ensure all sales transactions are accurately scanned out.
• Conduct thorough checks on delivery orders (SO) to confirm all details are accurate before dispatch.
• Ensure all refunds and sales returns are supported with properly completed and approved documentation.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
