Design Quality Engineer

We're looking for a Design Quality Engineer to join the team supporting the qualification and reliability testing of semiconductor equipment. You'll play a key role in ensuring new product designs meet high standards of performance and quality, from test planning through to data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Build and carry out qualification test plans tailored to real-world customer use cases for new product designs
• Design and run Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) and stress tests on critical, high-value components
• Analyze test and reliability data using statistical methods (DOE, Cpk, regression) and translate findings into clear technical reports
• Assess quality at both the component and system level, partnering closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement
• Lead root cause investigations and troubleshoot issues alongside cross-functional engineering teams
• Track and manage all identified defects through to resolution via corrective action processes
• Uphold 5S practices and ensure lab safety, equipment upkeep, and calibration standards are consistently met

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing setting
• Solid grounding in qualification test planning, test instrumentation, and structured problem-solving approaches
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis tools and methods (DOE, Cpk, t-test, regression, reliability analysis)
• Proficiency in Minitab and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
