RESIDENT DOCTOR / MEDICAL OFFICER

Job Summary

U.N.I Klinik Taman Medan is looking for a dedicated and motivated Resident Doctor / Medical Officer to join our primary care team.

We are seeking a doctor who is passionate about patient care, comfortable managing common primary care conditions, and interested in growing together with the clinic.

The successful candidate will work in a supportive clinical environment with opportunities to develop additional skills and participate in the growth of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, diagnosis and treatment for patients presenting with common primary care conditions.
• Perform appropriate physical examinations, investigations and treatment.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the scope of primary care.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health screening and vaccination services.
• Perform minor procedures and other clinical procedures according to competency.
• Provide appropriate referrals to hospitals or specialists when required.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
• Ensure safe prescribing and appropriate use of medications.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and their family members.
• Work closely with Clinic Assistants, management and other doctors to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, professionalism and customer service.
• Comply with MOH, MMC and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Participate in clinic programmes, service development and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• MBBS / MD or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Experience in General Practice / Primary Care is an advantage.
• Good clinical judgement and patient management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, punctual and committed to patient care.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours according to the clinic roster.
• Interest in developing additional primary care skills is highly encouraged.
