Responsibilities
Develop & Drive Business Strategies:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, stock, profit and business targets, while managing day-to-day sales operations and controlling operating expenses, including manpower costs.
Merchandising & Buying Management:
Manage buying budgets, merchandise mix, assortment and stock levels; forecast fashion and demand trends, recommend new products and suppliers, and plan overseas purchases and delivery schedules.
Sourcing & Vendor Management:
Establish effective sourcing and procurement strategies, conduct market and competitor research, and negotiate with vendors to secure favourable pricing, terms and conditions.
Sales, Marketing & E-Commerce:
Drive online and physical store sales through integrated strategies, digital marketing, advertising and promotional campaigns, while enhancing merchandise presentation and customer engagement.
Financial, Operational & People Management:
Analyse sales, profit, stock and budget reports; develop manpower plans, approve staff rosters, manage performance and ensure the team delivers required service and business standards.
Customer Experience, Compliance & Governance:
Improve operations, merchandise assortment and service levels based on customer feedback; resolve complaints, maintain product knowledge, safeguard confidential information, and ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant government regulations, including WSH requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, buying, or retail operations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in Supplier's Negotiation , sales forecasting and leadership experience.
Ability to work on weekends and Public holidays (Office hours) when required
