World Wide Technology is looking for a Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Strategic Resourcing practice. This is a contract role supporting one of WWT’s enterprise customers. The selected candidate will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners, who will provide full compensation and benefits details prior to employment. Role: Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Contract Duration: 12 Months contract

Location: Singapore

Nature of Work : on-site 5 days a week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Center & IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support

the delivery of complex data center and IT infrastructure projects in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across data center new builds, expansions,

retrofits, IT infrastructure deployments, M&E infrastructure, commissioning, migration,

and technology readiness. This role will work closely with technical teams, customers,

contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that IT infrastructure is delivered in

alignment with physical data center readiness.

The role requires a strong technical understanding of data center environments, excellent project

management capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex delivery

environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Governance

• Lead and support end-to-end project management for data center and IT infrastructure projects.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.

• Establish project governance, KPIs, reporting structures, RAID logs, and communication plans.

• Track project progress against agreed timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions.

• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, change management processes, and project documentation

requirements.

• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.

Data Center & IT Infrastructure Delivery

• Manage delivery activities associated with data center new builds, expansions, upgrades, and retrofits.

• Coordinate IT infrastructure deployment including:

o Servers

o Storage

o Network infrastructure

o Virtualization

o Racks and cabinets

o Structured cabling

o Power and cooling infrastructure

• Coordinate technology readiness with physical infrastructure availability.

• Work with M&E, facilities, construction, network, systems, and technology teams to ensure integrated

project delivery.

• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.

• Ensure infrastructure designs and deployments meet requirements for scalability, resiliency, availability,

performance, and future expansion.

Job Description

Data Center Migration, DR & BCP

• Manage or support data center migration and relocation initiatives.

• Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) infrastructure projects.

• Develop migration plans, dependencies, cutover schedules, and readiness criteria.

• Coordinate technical teams to minimize operational disruption during migration and cutover activities.

• Ensure appropriate testing, validation, rollback, and contingency plans are established.

Technical Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the key project coordination point between WWT, customers, technology teams, contractors,

suppliers, and other project stakeholders.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT infrastructure, networking, data center operations, M&E,

facilities, and construction.

• Ensure technical dependencies between IT and physical infrastructure are identified and resolved.

• Facilitate technical discussions and drive decisions required to maintain project timelines.

• Provide clear project updates and executive-level reporting where required.

BOM & Technical Commercial Coordination

• Review and coordinate Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical requirements, and supplier quotations.

• Validate that proposed hardware and infrastructure align with project requirements and technical

specifications.

• Coordinate BOMs and quotations for submission to WWT/customer stakeholders.

• Support technical clarification and vendor coordination during the quotation and delivery process.

• This role will not have direct ownership of project budgets, purchase orders, or commercial

procurement approvals.

Commissioning & Project Closeout

• Coordinate commissioning, testing, acceptance, and operational readiness activities.

• Track punch-list items and ensure timely closure.

• Ensure project documentation, as-built information, test results, and handover documentation are

completed.

• Support transition of completed infrastructure into operations.

• Conduct project closeout and lessons-learned activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong project management and delivery leadership skills.

• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and IT environments.

• Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, racks, cabling, and structured cabling systems.

• Understanding of server, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.

• Experience with data center construction, commissioning, and critical-path management.

• Strong risk management, problem-solving, and dependency management capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and workstreams simultaneously.

• Strong executive presentation and reporting skills.

• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, customers, contractors, and technology partners.

• Strong understanding of project governance, change management, RAID management, and PMO

processes.
