Smartlink Engineering Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian engineering and manufacturing company serving the semiconductor and high-technology industries. Our capabilities include cable harness assembly, control panels, box-build assemblies, electrical and mechanical module assembly, and customized engineering solutions.

We are looking for a Costing & Commercial Executive to support our quotation and costing activities, working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Production and other departments.

Work Location: Seksyen 32, Shah Alam

The position will relocate to our new Sijangkang facility upon completion and operational launch of the new factory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Prepare product costing and quotations based on BOM, materials, labour, machining and subcontracting costs.
• Review customer RFQs, BOMs, specifications and basic engineering drawings for quotation preparation.
• Obtain material and process pricing from suppliers and evaluate costs for quotation purposes.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and submit quotations within the required timeline.
• Analyse costing and identify opportunities for cost improvement and better profitability.
• Review Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) and assess their impact on product costing and pricing.
• Maintain and update material and costing databases to ensure accurate pricing information.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in costing, quotation, estimation, commercial or manufacturing-related roles.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in costing and manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
• Able to understand BOMs and read basic engineering drawings.
• Good analytical, numerical and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently with multiple deadlines.
• Experience with ERP systems will be an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
