Job Description

We’re looking for a results-driven Indoor Sales Representative (Food Industry) to actively support sales operations, communicate with customers, process orders, follow up on payments, and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls with customers

Perform cold calls to potential industries and existing customers

Introduce the company, products, promotions, and available product ranges to customers

Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs

Follow up with customers on enquiries, quotations, orders, and potential sales

Process customer orders and create sales orders in the portal.

Coordinate order processing and ensure orders are handled accurately and promptly

Update and maintain customer payment records in the portal.

Follow up on outstanding payments with customers and sales personnel

Monitor payment deadlines and Accounts Receivable (AR) within approved limits

Update customers and sales personnel on delivery dates and stock availability

Maintain good relationships with existing customers and assist in developing new customer accounts

Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and business operations

Suggest ideas and initiatives to improve sales and support the sales team's performance

Handle customer enquiries and resolve basic order or delivery-related issues

Prepare sales, collection, and forecast reports for management review

Perform related administrative and ad hoc duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience in indoor sales, sales coordination, telesales, customer service, or a related role

Comfortable making phone calls and cold calling customers

Highly motivated and target-driven

Good communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills

Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities

Basic knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage

Good relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Able to work independently and as part of a team
