Role Description The Social Media Manager – Senior Position is a full-time role based in Petaling Jaya with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms, aligning content with brand objectives and campaign goals. Day-to-day tasks include planning editorial calendars, creating and refining social media content, managing community interactions, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing posts for reach and engagement. The Senior Social Media Manager will lead initiatives to grow audiences, collaborate with creative and marketing teams, oversee paid and organic social campaigns, and provide insights and recommendations based on analytics. The role also includes mentoring junior team members, maintaining platform best practices, and staying current with emerging social trends and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO) skills, with proven experience managing brand presence across major platforms.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities, including crafting clear, engaging, and brand-consistent messages.
• Experience in content strategy, including planning social campaigns, mapping content to objectives, and coordinating with creative and marketing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze social media performance, interpret data, and apply insights to improve engagement and reach.
• Experience in a senior or lead social media role, with responsibility for strategy, client or stakeholder management, and mentoring team members.
• Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
