Full Time Senior Audit Associate (3- Years) Jobs, in Forvis Mazars Asia Pacific Services Federal Territory - Maukerja

As a Senior Associate, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality audit engagements from planning through to completion. You will be assigned to engagements for clients of Forvis Mazars, located outside of Malaysia. You might be required to travel depending on engagement requirements. Working under the guidance of your superiors, you will gain hands-on exposure across different aspects of the audit process while developing your technical and professional skills.

This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and we are located at 4th Floor, KL33, 10, Jln Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, 50250 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We are hiring for multiple positions and you may be assigned to support the following offices:

Australia - Melbourne

Australia - Sydney

Ireland

Luxembourg

Singapore

Do note that the working hours of the role will be in line with the country office working hours.

Luxembourg / Ireland: 1pm to 10pm MYT

Australia: 7am to 4pm MYT

Singapore: 8.45am to 5.45pm MYT

*Do note that there may be some slight changes during daylight savings and the above is inclusive of a 1 hour meal-time break.

Your job responsibilities, under the supervision of partners include, but are not limited to: -

• Identify client’s business and key risks.
• Analyse the impact of changing business environment on client’s business.
• Implement and provide input to engagement plan.
• Perform assurance engagement in compliance with professional standards.
• Obtain evidence to corroborate information.
• Harness technology to gather and analyse data.
• Propose resolutions to significant accounting and auditing issues.
• Review information accompanying the assurance report in accordance with applicable framework.
• Identify areas for personal development to improve work performance.
• Facilitate effective communication within the cross functional and culturally diverse team.
• Coach junior team members to achieve technical competency and efficient performance.
• Act in accordance with professional standards when providing assurance services.
• Identify ethical conflicts in the work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from an international accounting firm
• Commendable analytic and technical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently as well as a team player
