Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate material requirements based on production schedules
- Ensure raw materials and components are available for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages.
- Prepare material requirement plans based on demand forecasts.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory.
- Avoid overstocking, excess inventory and material wastage.
- Review slow-moving and obsolete materials.
- Ensure accurate inventory records.
- Work closely with the Production, Purchasing and Warehouse teams.
- Coordinate material availability according to production timelines
