About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging visuals for social media, marketing campaigns, product launches and in-store materials while maintaining Grumpy Bagels’ brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics and visual content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Design promotional materials such as posters, flyers, menus, banners, signage and in-store materials.
• Assist in creating visuals for new product launches, campaigns, events and seasonal promotions.
• Adapt designs according to Grumpy Bagels’ branding, tone and visual guidelines.
• Work closely with the marketing and management team to understand design requirements and campaign objectives.
• Assist with photo editing, basic retouching and resizing of product images for different platforms.
• Create simple digital content such as social media posts, stories and promotional materials.
• Assist with maintaining and organising design assets, templates and brand materials.
• Make revisions and adjustments based on feedback from the team.
• Keep up with current graphic design, social media and F&B visual trends.
• Support other departments with ad-hoc design requests when required.
• Ensure all artwork is completed accurately and within the required deadlines.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in graphic design; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge/ fundamentals of illustration is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of photo editing and digital content creation is a plus.
• Good understanding of typography, layout, composition and colour.
• Creative, detail-oriented and willing to explore new ideas.
• Able to understand and follow brand guidelines.
• Good communication skills and able to work well with a team.
• Able to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio showcasing previous design work is required.
• Experience in F&B, lifestyle, retail or consumer brands will be an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling ad-hoc requests.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,100.00 per month
