Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging
Art
lessons for children aged
18 months to 6 years
.
Foster children's creativity, imagination, self-expression, and appreciation of the arts through hands-on experiences.
Prepare lesson plans and learning materials aligned with the school's curriculum and developmental goals.
Create a safe, stimulating, and child-friendly learning environment.
Observe and document children's progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents where appropriate.
Maintain and organise art resources, equipment, and learning spaces.
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to integrate art into classroom learning.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during lessons.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, or a related discipline.
Experience teaching art and/or music to preschool-aged children is preferred.
Passionate about working with young children.
Creative, enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Able to sing confidently and lead music and movement activities.
Proficient in using a variety of art media and teaching techniques.
Team player with a positive attitude.
