Job Responsibilities
1. Shop Drawing Preparation
- Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD based on client specifications and design requirements.
- Interpret overall project specifications and translate them into technical drawings.
- Ensure drawings reflect accurate dimensions, materials, and construction details.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from project teams or clients when required.
2. As-Built Drawings
- Prepare as-built drawings to reflect final constructed products and completed project conditions.
- Conduct measurements at warehouse, factory, or site when necessary.
- Update drawings accurately according to actual production or installation outcomes.
- Maintain proper documentation of finalized drawings.
3. Construction & Technical Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers and production teams to clarify technical details under supervision.
- Support construction and fabrication processes by providing drawing clarifications.
- Assist in resolving technical issues related to drawings during project execution.
- Ensure drawings are aligned with practical construction and material applications.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or related discipline.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant drafting experience (interior fit-out or furniture industry preferred).
- Experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings is an advantage.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
- Ability to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
- Willing to travel to warehouse, factory, or project sites when required.
- Able to work within tight project timelines.
