Full Time Software Test Engineer (Manual - API Testing) Jobs, in Ascendion - Maukerja

Role:

• We are looking for a software test engineer to join an enterprise IT project.
• This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants to build strong experience across manual testing, API validation, SIT/UAT, defect management and enterprise system implementation, with exposure to test automation tools such as Playwright.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual, functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, test scripts and test evidence.
• Validate application workflows, system interfaces and business processes.
• Identify, document, track and retest software defects through closure.
• Perform basic REST API testing using Postman, Swagger or equivalent tools.
• Validate API requests, responses, status codes and JSON data.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Work closely with developers, system engineers, project managers and business users.
• Support defect investigation, deployment verification and production validation.
• Contribute to test automation activities where applicable.

Required Skills:

• Manual / functional software testing.

• Defect logging, tracking and retesting.
• Basic API testing.
• REST API concepts and JSON request/response validation.
• Communicating testing issues clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
