We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager – Enterprise Networking to lead technical pre-sales activities, design resilient network architectures, and provide technical leadership throughout the sales process for enterprise networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and ICT strategies.
• Conduct workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and solution design engagements.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available network architectures for business-critical applications and future growth.
• Translate customer requirements into comprehensive technical and commercial proposals.
• Lead solution design across networking domains including LAN, wireless, automation, and network management.
• Define and manage proof-of-concept (PoC) objectives, validation methodologies, and testing plans.
• Coordinate technical execution for PoC deployments and produce outcome reports and recommendations.
• Lead technical responses for RFI, RFP, RFQ, and tender submissions, including compliance matrices and solution mapping.
• Conduct technical evaluations, gap analyses, and support commercial teams in solution sizing and effort estimation.
• Participate in customer presentations, technical clarification sessions, and tender interviews.
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers, channel partners, consultants, and system integrators.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, distributors, and implementation teams to achieve successful customer outcomes.
• Represent the organisation at industry forums, technology events, and customer workshops.
  
  
  

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelor's degree in any related discipline.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise networking/ network infrastructure/ telecommunications or ICT solutions.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical pre-sales/ solution engineering or network consultancy role.
• Proven experience designing and positioning enterprise networking solutions for medium to large commercial organisations.
• Experience supporting the complete sales lifecycle, including customer discovery, solution design, proof-of-concept (PoC), proposal development, and technical presentations.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise LAN, WLAN, and network management technologies.
• Experience preparing technical responses for RFI, RFP, RFQ, and competitive tender submissions.
• Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders, including IT Managers, Infrastructure Managers, and Solution Architects.
• Experience working with technology vendors, distributors, system integrators, and implementation teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of networking, including fabric LAN architecture and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with enterprise wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7, including RF planning, wireless site surveys, and controller-based or cloud-managed wireless.
  
  
  

Nice-to-have:

• Strong understanding of data centre networking concepts such as spine-leaf architectures, EVPN-VXLAN, network virtualisation, high-speed Ethernet (10/25/40/100GbE), and data centre interconnect.
• Familiarity with network operational automation principles, including AI-assisted network operations (AIOps), zero-touch provisioning, infrastructure APIs, telemetry and analytics, and policy-driven network management.
