About the Role:
We are seeking a high-caliber Quality Manager to take full operational ownership of our Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. This role requires a strong technical leader who can champion zero-defect initiatives, uphold strict IATF 16949 standards, and manage high-stakes customer relationships and familiar with overseas customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Quality Leadership: Establish and drive company-wide quality strategy, quality objectives, and zero-defect initiatives across automotive and E&E product lines.
- QMS & Audit Management: Take full accountability for maintaining and continuously improving compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards, leading all external and customer audit defenses.
- Customer Interface & Resolution: Serve as the primary quality authority for major automotive and E&E clients local and overseas; oversee PPAP approvals, manage claim resolutions, and drive 8D / CAPA root-cause problem solving.
- NPI & Core Tools Governance: Oversee Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and MSA during new product launches and tooling/die validations.
- Supplier & Process Quality: Drive vendor quality assurance programs and conduct process Capability Studies to minimize scrap rates and rework costs.
- People Leadership: Lead, coach, and elevate the technical capabilities of the QA/QC engineering and inspection teams.
Role-Based Requirements:
- Direct Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in quality leadership roles within automotive metal stamping and E&E manufacturing environments.
- System Mastership: Deep, practical expertise in IATF 16949 system execution, APQP, PPAP submissions, and core statistical tools.
- Leadership Track Record: Proven ability to manage cross-functional quality conflicts, interface directly with customer representatives, and enforce shop-floor compliance.
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering (Certified IATF Internal/Lead Auditor preferred).
