RETAIL / SALES PROMOTER

Role Summary

The Retail Sales Promoter supports retail sales operations by engaging customers, promoting company products, and ensuring proper stock and display management at the outlet.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, are responsible in their work, are willing to learn selling skills in and strives in a competitive retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service

• Greet and approach customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Introduce and explain product features and benefits
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs
• Support the outlet in achieving sales targets
• Maintain positive working relationships with store staff and other promoters
• Recommend additional or complementary products when appropriate
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell related items to enhance customer experience

Merchandising & Display

• Ensure products are properly arranged and replenished
• Keep display areas neat, clean and organised
• Check that pricing and promotional materials are accurate

Inventory & Stock Control

• Conduct basic stock checks
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisor when replenishment is required
• Assist in receiving and arranging stock

Professional Conduct

• Maintain professionalism during working hours
• Work calmly during peak periods
• Handle competition respectfully without conflict

Requirements:

• Pleasant and confident personality
• Willing to approach customers and introduce products
• Responsible and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail setting
• Willing to learn sales techniques and product knowledge
• Retail experience is an advantage but not required
