Role Description The Business Development & Ventures Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kajang. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, including partnership initiatives, school programs, and revenue-generating ventures. The executive will conduct market research, manage lead generation activities, and build relationships with prospective parents, partners, and corporate stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key accounts, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating outreach campaigns, and tracking performance metrics for business development initiatives. The role also requires close collaboration with the school leadership team to align ventures with Maverick’s educational mission and to support sustainable growth.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Business planning, with the ability to identify and evaluate growth opportunities.
• Experience in Lead Generation and prospecting, including managing pipelines and conversion activities.
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Proven Account Management capabilities, including relationship building, follow-up, and retention strategies.
• Previous experience in education, services, or related sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable using productivity tools and basic CRM or sales-tracking systems.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
