Preschool Music Enrichment Teacher (Part Time)

Are you a preschool teacher who enjoys using music, movement and play to engage young children?

We are looking for a warm, expressive and dependable Preschool Music Enrichment Teacher to conduct small-group music classes for children aged

18 months to 4 years old

. Training and structured lesson plans will be provided.

Working Schedule

Required:
Sunday, 9:00am–6:00pm

Optional additional classes:
Saturday, 3:00pm–6:00pm

Candidates must be able to commit consistently to the full Sunday schedule.

Salary and Incentives

From $35 per hour

, depending on relevant experience and qualifications

What We Provide

no more than six children

Opportunities to take on additional Saturday classes

Requirements

Applicants should have either:
At least

three years of experience in the early childhood sector

; or

Experience teaching music using the

Orff approach

You should also be able to:
Follow and deliver the provided lesson plans confidently

Engage young children through music, movement, rhythm and play

Manage a small group of children in a warm and structured manner

Communicate clearly and professionally with parents

Receive feedback and apply it to your teaching

A formal music-teaching background is not required if you have strong preschool teaching experience and are willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct age-appropriate music enrichment classes for children aged 18 months to 4 years

Prepare for and deliver classes according to the provided lesson plans

Create a warm, engaging and well-managed classroom environment

Observe and respond to children’s different learning needs

Build positive relationships with children and parents

Provide parents with clear updates on their child’s participation and progress

Maintain the school’s teaching and service standards
