Role Description The HVAC, Kitchen and Laundry Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Pullman Kuching. This position oversees the operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, kitchen equipment and laundry machinery to ensure safe, efficient and reliable performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and monitoring preventive maintenance, coordinating troubleshooting and corrective repairs, and maintaining accurate logs and reports for equipment and systems. The supervisor leads and guides a technical team, monitors work quality, and ensures compliance with hotel standards, safety regulations and manufacturer specifications. The role also involves collaborating closely with other departments, responding promptly to guest-impacting issues, supporting energy-saving initiatives, and assisting in budgeting and inventory for tools, parts and supplies.
Qualifications

• Strong Supervisory Skills with experience leading technical teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Technical expertise in HVAC systems, including installation, operation, and repair in commercial or hotel environments.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues for HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance planning, scheduling and execution to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Customer Service orientation with the ability to respond professionally to internal stakeholders and resolve guest-related issues promptly.
• Relevant vocational or technical certification in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration or building services; diploma or degree in engineering or a related field is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, hotel maintenance standards, and basic energy management practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed, and to perform hands-on technical work when required.
• Previous experience in hotel or large facility maintenance is highly beneficial; experience within an international hotel group is a plus.
