Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Quantity Surveyor at RupNirmans. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), support cost planning from project initiation through completion, and assist in developing budgets and tender documents. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring project costs, updating cost reports, analyzing variations, and advising project teams on cost implications. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to verify quantities, validate invoices, and help ensure projects remain financially viable. The Quantity Surveyor will maintain accurate documentation and provide clear, timely cost information to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Candidates should possess solid cost planning and cost management skills.
• Candidates should possess experience in cost control and cost reporting for construction projects.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and cost estimation tools, and strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Candidates should possess good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Relevant education in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in building or infrastructure projects and familiarity with standard construction contracts will be an advantage.
