Job Summary

Perform commercial diving operations including underwater inspection, hull cleaning, and equipment maintenance safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform underwater diving operations including inspection, CCTV survey, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and blanking on vessels and barges
• Operate brushkart and polisher equipment effectively during diving tasks
• Maintain and repair diving equipment to ensure operational readiness before each job
• Verify all equipment and spares are functional and sufficient prior to deployment
• Follow company diving safety protocols and procedures while adhering to assigned rosters and quality standards
• Communicate clearly and follow instructions from lead divers and supervisors
• Complete additional assignments as required to support team and operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess recognized in-shore/offshore commercial diving CSCUBA/SSDE certificates
• Certified according to Commercial Diving Competency Standards under SS511
• Hold valid diving medical certification and diving/occupational first aid certification
• Minimum 2 years of commercial diving experience (certified divers without experience may be considered for Apprentice Diver role)
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Strong teamwork skills and availability to work odd hours, weekends, and public holidays for vessel movements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of Brushkart system and/or ROV system
