Job Summary
Perform commercial diving operations including underwater inspection, hull cleaning, and equipment maintenance safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform underwater diving operations including inspection, CCTV survey, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, and blanking on vessels and barges
- Operate brushkart and polisher equipment effectively during diving tasks
- Maintain and repair diving equipment to ensure operational readiness before each job
- Verify all equipment and spares are functional and sufficient prior to deployment
- Follow company diving safety protocols and procedures while adhering to assigned rosters and quality standards
- Communicate clearly and follow instructions from lead divers and supervisors
- Complete additional assignments as required to support team and operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess recognized in-shore/offshore commercial diving CSCUBA/SSDE certificates
- Certified according to Commercial Diving Competency Standards under SS511
- Hold valid diving medical certification and diving/occupational first aid certification
- Minimum 2 years of commercial diving experience (certified divers without experience may be considered for Apprentice Diver role)
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Strong teamwork skills and availability to work odd hours, weekends, and public holidays for vessel movements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of Brushkart system and/or ROV system
