About The Role
As a Software Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of technology solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define quality standards, execute testing strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business outcomes and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute software quality assurance activities across multiple applications and projects to ensure the delivery of high-quality technology solutions.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to analyze requirements, prioritize testing needs, and define comprehensive quality assurance strategies.
Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality documentation to support project delivery.
Perform end-to-end testing activities, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
Identify, document, monitor, and support the resolution of defects, risks, and quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct quality reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with established standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Evaluate testing tools, technologies, and methodologies, and recommend improvements to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to quality standards, governance frameworks, and testing processes
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or quality engineering roles.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and defect management practices.
Experience testing web-based, client-server, and mobile applications.
Hands-on experience with relational databases and database testing, including Microsoft SQL Server and SQL-based queries.
Knowledge of software development technologies such as .NET, C#, JavaScript, and related application development frameworks.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within established timelines.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or other iterative software development environments.
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
Experience supporting mobile application testing across multiple platforms.
Familiarity with database development concepts, including stored procedures, triggers, and performance validation.
Exposure to secure development practices and software quality governance frameworks.
