We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, and scalable AI architectures to help shape intelligent solutions that enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and ensure responsible AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs for enterprise and automotive applications, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Build and maintain automated AI pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring across global platforms.
• Develop LLM-based solutions integrated with backend systems and customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and customer-focused AI solutions.
• Implement cloud-native architectures with containerization and GPU orchestration for cost-optimized performance.
• Explore and adopt emerging AI advancements, ensuring Mercedes-Benz remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Contribute to responsible AI practices, including model safety, guardrails, and ethical deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Python and analytical problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, and semantic models.
• Skilled in fine-tuning and evaluating LLMs, including quality assurance and failure mode analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and scalable data architectures.
• Familiarity with GPU orchestration and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Results-driven, emphasizing scalable, maintainable solutions.

Bonus Points

• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, etc.).
• Hands-on work with RAG systems, vector databases, and embedding pipelines.
• Exposure to model safety, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with Spark/Apache ecosystem and CI/CD DevOps tooling.

*Salary Range RM 7,000 - 10,000

*Hybrid 1-2 days in office per week
