Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our early years team. The successful candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment where young children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with young children, a positive and patient approach, and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences through play and exploration.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities based on children’s developmental needs and interests.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Use play-based learning, exploration, creativity, and hands-on activities to encourage learning.
• Observe and document children’s development and progress.
• Adapt activities and learning approaches to meet individual needs and abilities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence, confidence, and communication skills.
• Establish positive and respectful relationships with children and their families.
• Maintain effective communication with parents regarding children’s development, learning, and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, teaching assistants, and school staff.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow school policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety, and child protection.
• Participate in school events, celebrations, professional development, and team meetings.
• Support children with daily routines such as meals, toileting, hygiene, rest, and transitions where appropriate.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with young children in a preschool, kindergarten, nursery, or early years setting.
• Knowledge of child development and early childhood learning principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, patient, caring, and positive personality.
• Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Good classroom-management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
• Experience in an international or multicultural school environment is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
