Role Description The Sustainability Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Terengganu. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives that enhance SATU’s environmental performance and resource efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing water usage and operational data, preparing sustainability reports, and supporting compliance with environmental regulations and standards. The Sustainability Executive will coordinate with internal teams to integrate sustainable practices into projects, engage stakeholders on sustainability goals, and contribute to awareness programs related to water conservation and responsible resource management. The role also involves monitoring key sustainability indicators, recommending improvements, and assisting in the development of policies aligned with SATU’s long-term sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of sustainability principles, environmental management, and resource efficiency in water or utility sectors.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret operational and environmental data, and prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, standards, and best practices related to water services and utilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in standard office software and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience in the water industry, public utilities, or related fields is beneficial, as is fluency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
