Lipotech Project Engineering Pte Ltd – Singapore

Lipotech Project Engineering Pte Ltd provides engineering consultancy, design and project services for the oils, fats, oleochemicals and biodiesel industries. The Energy Consultant will support project studies and engineering activities involving plant utilities, energy use and process-related requirements. The role will work closely with engineers, project personnel and clients to develop practical solutions for industrial facilities.

Key Areas of Work

• Review energy and utility requirements for new plant projects, upgrades and modifications.
• Study process information, equipment data and operating conditions to identify energy consumption and utility requirements.
• Assist with energy assessments and prepare calculations, estimates and technical reports.
• Evaluate steam, hot oil, cooling water, compressed air, electricity and other relevant utility systems used in industrial plants.
• Work with the engineering team on equipment selection, utility sizing and preliminary design considerations.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce unnecessary utility consumption in plant operations.
• Review technical specifications, equipment information and engineering documents supplied by clients and vendors.
• Prepare technical notes, calculation sheets, proposals and supporting documents for project work.
• Coordinate with mechanical, process, electrical and other engineering disciplines when energy-related requirements affect plant design.
• Participate in project discussions with clients, suppliers and contractors when required.
• Support project implementation by following up on technical issues, equipment requirements and engineering changes.
• Assist with commissioning, testing or site-related activities where energy and utility systems require technical input.

What You Should Bring

• Degree or diploma in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in energy consulting, industrial utilities, process plants or engineering projects will be useful.
• Familiarity with industrial energy systems, plant utilities and basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to read and understand process flow diagrams, equipment specifications and engineering drawings.
• Good numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to assess technical information and prepare clear calculations.
• Comfortable working with engineers, project teams, vendors and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare structured technical documentation.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel to project or client sites when required.

Working Style

The role involves both office-based engineering activities and coordination with project stakeholders, with the opportunity to gain exposure to industrial plants and energy-related engineering applications.

The position is based in Singapore and reports into the project engineering function.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
