Sepenuh Masa Medical Officer -Based in Klang Jobs, in Beacon Hospital Sdn Bhd Klang - Maukerja

Clinical Duties

• Provide medical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, counselling and follow-up care to patients.

• Respond to and manage medical emergencies within the department and arrange ambulance transfers when required.

• Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when necessary.

• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests and recommend suitable health screening packages.

• Perform basic clinical procedures such as Pap smears, vaccinations, swab tests and Tuberculin tests.

• Conduct pre-employment medical screenings for corporate clients.

• Provide medical assessments for insurance purposes.

• Attend to patients at the Klang Satellite Centre and Chemotherapy Ward.

• Provide medical support and consultation to hospital staff when required.

• Explain medical procedures, treatment plans and medications clearly to patients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

• Work closely with paramedics, nurses, specialists, hospitals and other healthcare professionals.

• Promote health education and encourage healthy practices among patients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices, treatments and medications.

• Support health campaigns, programmes and promotional activities.

• Ensure quality standards and good clinical practices are maintained.

• Assist in developing training programmes for clinical and nursing staff.

Non-Clinical Duties

• Conduct health talks for corporate clients and SMEs, both in-house and externally.

• Participate in CME programmes and provide clinical support to other departments.

• Provide medical input for the development of healthcare products and services.

• Assist in handling patient complaints and concerns together with the Medical Director and relevant HOD.

• Support workplace safety, emergency preparedness, infection control and regulatory compliance activities.

• Assist with CPR training and Code Blue programmes.

• Support other duties, projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the management.
