The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with a US tech MNC to look for a Senior Full Stack Developer.
• Senior Software Engineer role focused on building and integrating scalable applications, primarily through strong backend/OOP development, system architecture, and technical leadership, with frontend experience in React/Next.js as a plus.
• The role will start out as a contract

The Talent

• At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience in large-scale or complex environments.

• Strong backend development experience using an object-oriented programming language.

• Python is preferred, but strong experience with Java, Go, Kotlin, PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies is acceptable.

• Proven experience building and delivering new applications/systems, rather than primarily maintaining existing systems.

• Experience designing and developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.

• Experience taking end-to-end ownership of projects, features, or technical components.

• Experience leading major technical initiatives and projects.

• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and REST APIs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with code reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with GraphQL, Redis, RDBMS/SQL databases, responsive UI development, CSS animations, and UI/UX tools such as Zeplin or Abstract would be advantageous.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, tracking, and data analytics is also a plus.

Job Description

• Build new internal applications that help teams improve their workflows and productivity.

• Integrate existing internal systems and tools so information can be aggregated and accessed in one place.

• Work closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

• Develop backend services and scalable applications that support complex business requirements.

• Build and improve frontend interfaces where required, using technologies such as React or Next.js.

• Design and architect scalable systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.

• Improve code quality through code reviews, testing, monitoring, and production rollouts.

• Identify and reduce technical debt and improve existing systems.

• Take end-to-end ownership of applications, features, or technical components.

• Lead major technical initiatives and projects across multiple teams.

• Use data and technical analysis to identify problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions.

• Work with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
