Responsibilities

Job Summary

Reporting to the Head, National Team Women (NTW), the Team Manager provides administrative, and organisational support for managing and delivering National Team Women programmes, as directed by the Head, NTW and Head Coach.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration and communications of the Women’s National Teams (U-16, U-19 and “A” Team), including correspondence with players, parents, schools, employers and relevant stakeholders, as required.
  • Work closely with the Technical Division and National Team coaches to develop and maintain the annual training and competition calendar, taking into account FIFA, AFC and AFF competition schedules, as well as major multi-sport events such as the SEA Games.
  • Coordinate and manage all domestic and international travel arrangements for National Team programmes, including flights, accommodation, ground transport, meals, visa applications, travel insurance and other related logistical requirements.
  • Coordinate leave and release arrangements for players, part-time staff and volunteers, including the preparation of letters to schools, employers and other relevant institutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date player and staff records, including passports, identification documents, visas, insurance information, attendance records and other documentation required for National Team participation.
  • Attend and support training sessions, matches, camps and National Team events as required, including maintaining attendance records and coordinating facilities, equipment, apparel and other operational requirements.
  • Support player welfare and administrative matters, including insurance, medical treatment arrangements, allowances and other player support requirements, in coordination with the relevant departments and staff.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate registration and accreditation of players and officials for domestic and international competitions, including through AFCAS and other Confederation/Federation platforms as required.
  • Manage National Team administrative and financial matters, including allowances, claims, invoices, procurement, inventory and post-trip/event reconciliation, in accordance with FAS procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and collation of reports, data and documentation for FAS Congress, FAS Women’s Football Committee meetings, AFC and FIFA reporting requirements, and other internal or external reporting purposes.
  •  Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the FAS General Secretary and/or Director, Technical Division

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, Sports Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  •  At least two years of experience in sports administration or operations, preferably within a high-performance sporting environment
  • Good general knowledge of football, both in Singapore and internationally
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise competing demands, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with the capability to support the needs of players, coaches, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to prepare reports and presentation materials, and perform basic data analysis
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Willing and able to travel overseas with the National Teams as required, including on short notice where necessary
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willing to work on match days, including weekends, in accordance with operational requirements and competition calendar.
