As a Target Analyst, you will conduct deep investigations into entities and networks to identify emerging threats and operational opportunities on issues and developments that shape national interests. You will use multi-source intelligence and data analytics to synthesise information into actionable insights that drive high-stakes decisions. Translation? You won't just be reading news tickers. You'll be uncovering the stories hidden beneath the surface. It's part detective work, part strategy play, and 100% real-world impact. What you will be working on

• Integrate Fragmented Data: Combine data from diverse sources— OSINT, technical metadata, and specialised feeds
• Separate Signal from Noise: Filter through large volumes of messy, conflicting information by asking the right questions, and discerning the relevant picture from unrelated noise
• Map Networks: Map out complex networks of entities and operational infrastructures, and create clear pictures from a large web of disparate clues
• Tell the Story Behind the Data: Translate complex technical data and convoluted investigative trails into clear and concise executive briefs to provide early warning and strategic support for Singapore's policymakers
• Build & Innovate: Develop new investigative tools, and refine analytical workflows to keep our team ahead of emerging risks

We are looking for individuals with an investigative mindset who are able to find clarity in ambiguity, and turn fragmented data into clear answers. You would possess the creativity to:

• Hunt for missing pieces: Develop mastery of the information landscape and know where to find additional data sources when the current picture is incomplete
• Slice and dice data: Approach data with clear questions to ensure your analysis is relevant, looking for patterns that others miss
• Connect the dots: Turn disjointed or weak signals into a coherent narrative of “how things fit together”

We will provide the tradecraft training; you bring the curiosity. Your job isn’t to know all the answers today, but to have the drive to uncover them. Desired qualities and attributes include

We actively welcome candidates from adjacent backgrounds such as (but not limited to)

• Geopolitical Risk Researchers: Analysts skilled in open-source research (OSINT), digital forensics, or regional threat monitoring
• Trust & Safety / Risk Operations: Investigators who identify bad actors, coordinated abuse, or platform manipulation at scale
• Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI): Analysts who track threat actors, malware campaigns, or digital indicators
• Financial Crime & Fraud Investigations: Specialists who follow paper trails, map suspicious transactions, and uncover hidden entity relationships

Beyond these professions, candidates with the following foundational skills will hit the ground running

• Investigative & OSINT Methodologies: Advanced search techniques, digital footprinting, domain/IP pivoting, social network analysis, and online investigation frameworks
• Link Analysis & Visualisation: Practical experience with network visualization platforms (e.g., graph analysis tools)
• Domain Expertise: Familiarity with regional or international geopolitical, threat or security issues
• Language Expertise: Mastery of a foreign language
