Primary Role:
The Key Account Executive is responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with key customers to drive sales growth and ensure long-term business partnerships. The role focuses on maintaining strong customer engagement, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring effective execution of sales strategies for assigned key accounts.
Responsibilities
1. IVF Channel Management:
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with Fertility Specialists, Embryologists, and O&G consultants.
- Conduct clinical product presentations and provide technical support to nursing staff on protocol administration.
- Secure "preferred brand" status within private IVF centres and hospital fertility units.
- Manage and drive sales performance for assigned geographical territories.
- Execute field visits to ensure prescription pull-through and relationship continuity with key accounts.
2. Key Pharmacy Account Management:
- Manage top-tier pharmacy chain accounts – HQ-level negotiations.
- Ensure product listing and consistent stock levels across central procurement.
- Execute trade marketing campaigns and pharmacist education programs to drive "sell-out."
- Oversee and coordinate with outsourced distributor sales teams (e.g., pharmacy & GP channel teams) to ensure alignment with company targets and promotional strategies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with distributor partners and ensure execution excellence in the pharmacy and GP segments.
3. Commercial & Data Strategy:
- Analyse monthly sales data to identify territory gaps and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to internal management and external partners.
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and new launches within the IVF and Women’s Health space.
- Support marketing initiatives within the Pharmacy and GP sector, including campaign execution, promotional planning, and material deployment.
- Collaborate with internal marketing team to provide field insights and feedback for strategic planning.
Education/Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Science, Pharmacy, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
Experience managing key accounts such as hospitals, distributors, or pharmacy chains will be an advantage.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
