Position:

Sports Trainer (Basketball)

Reports to:

Coaching & Development Head

Job Overview:

As a trainer (Basketball), you will be tasked with coaching and training our students. Using a variety of instructional techniques and media to meet the needs and improve the abilities of the students in the sport. You will be developing their character through values and principles of the company, being a role model for the students as well.

Within this role, you will have the opportunity within a fast paced, creative, and fun working environment. You will also be provided with ample training and the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge to help progress your career in the future.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute training and classes for our students.
• Ensure safe and healthy environment for our students to train in.
• Identifying strength and weaknesses
• Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques
• Monitoring and enhancing performance.
• Providing constructive feedback.
• Conduct practices to prepare for competition.
• Building strong character within the students

Essential Criteria:

• Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
• Demonstrate attention to details.
• Must be very hands on with a highly positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Enthusiastic about the growth and development of the students.
• Able to present himself/herself well.

Additional Criteria:

• Basic video editing skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: $2,200.00 - $3,500.00 per month
