About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer (Front End) to support and optimize our manufacturing processes related to UHP/HP (Ultra High Purity / High Purity) tubing. This role focuses on front-end processes such as cutting, deburring, facing, and bending, ensuring that all products meet strict quality, purity, and international manufacturing standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Process Development & Optimization
- Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for orbital welding and Front End tubing preparation (cutting, deburring, facing, bending).
- Implement robust process controls to ensure compliance with ASME BPE, SEMI, and AWS standards.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Identify and troubleshoot welding, assembly, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and product defects.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Design, NPI, and Production teams to support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and process validation.
- Provide technical support during new product introduction and engineering changes.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
- Ensure strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and contamination-control requirements.
- Continuous Improvement Activities
- Lead initiatives to improve cycle time, yield, cost efficiency, and overall process capability.
- Apply Lean manufacturing tools to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Training & Certification Support
- Support operator training programs, skill certification, and competency development.
- Ensure operators follow standard processes and quality requirements.
- Quality & Standards Assurance
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with international standards including ASME BPE, SEMI F78/F81, and AWS D18.1.
- Maintain strong process discipline and purity standards in cleanroom environments.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within UHP/HP or semiconductor-related industries.
- Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of orbital welding, GTAW/TIG welding, and purge gas management.
- Familiarity with cleanroom operations and contamination control procedures.
- Systems & Tools
- Proficiency with CAD software, ERP systems, and Lean manufacturing tools.
- Certifications (Preferred)
- ASME Section IX welding qualification or orbital welding certification is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
