Temporary Operations Staff
Job Overview
We are seeking responsible, motivated, and safety-conscious Temporary Operations Staff to support our semiconductor production and engineering operations in Singapore.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day production activities, semiconductor equipment operation, material handling, and other operational tasks. The role requires strict adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, cleanroom protocols, and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily production, manufacturing, and engineering operations.
- Operate semiconductor equipment and tools in accordance with approved SOPs and work instructions.
- Perform loading and unloading of wafers, components, parts, and production materials.
- Assist with basic production preparation, material movement, and operational activities as required.
- Monitor assigned equipment or production processes and promptly report abnormalities or issues to the supervisor or engineering team.
- Maintain accurate production records and update information in relevant computer-based systems when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and comply with all cleanroom protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Follow company quality, safety, security, and EHS policies and procedures at all times.
- Handle materials and equipment carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or production delays.
- Work closely with production operators, technicians, engineers, and supervisors to support daily operational requirements.
- Perform other operational or production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC, ITE, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Must be computer literate and comfortable using computer-based systems for daily operational activities.
- Previous experience in the semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or production environment is an advantage; candidates without prior experience may also be considered.
- Able and willing to work in a cleanroom environment and wear the required cleanroom attire and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and handle light production materials.
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
- Able to understand and follow work instructions, SOPs, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and attentive to detail.
- Positive working attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
