We are building our new team for Signature Kitchen @ Publika and are looking for ambitious Sales Designers who want more than just a desk-based design job.

You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with homeowners, develop complete home solutions and earn attractive commissions from the projects you successfully close.

As a Sales Designer, you’ll be able to propose a One-Stop Home Solution covering:

Kitchen & cabinetry

Wardrobes

TV consoles & feature cabinetry

Bedroom cabinetry

Living & dining solutions

Whole-home built-in carpentry

Curtains & soft furnishings

Loose furniture

Smart home solutions

Your role is to understand how your client wants to live — and turn those needs into a complete home solution.

DESIGN IT. PRESENT IT. CLOSE IT. EARN FROM IT.

This isn’t a role where you simply prepare drawings for someone else.

You’ll manage your own clients from the initial consultation through design proposal and sales conversion.

Your Responsibilities

* Attend to showroom walk-ins, enquiries and appointments

* Understand clients’ lifestyle, requirements and preferences

* Develop suitable space planning and design solutions

* Recommend cabinetry, materials, finishes, furniture and complementary home solutions

* Prepare designs using Signature’s dedicated design system

* Present proposals and quotations confidently

* Follow up with potential clients

* Convert enquiries into confirmed projects

* Coordinate internally after project confirmation

* Maintain strong client relationships throughout the process

You don’t just design the project — you have the opportunity to earn commission when you close it.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for someone who is:

Diploma/Degree holder in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field

Fresh graduate OR junior designer with approximately 1–2 years of experience

Fluent and confident in English, especially when consulting and presenting to clients

Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage

Comfortable meeting and communicating with different types of homeowners

Passionate about interior design and home styling

Good at space planning, colour coordination and material selection

Confident presenting design ideas

Commercially minded and comfortable with sales targets

Hungry to learn, improve and earn

Presentable, responsible and proactive

Able to work at our Publika showroom
