Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee and drive complex projects that require close cross-departmental coordination, such as cloud infrastructure migration and system architecture upgrades.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and drive, along with solid structured thinking, risk identification, and problem-solving skills, and can effectively coordinate across different teams to achieve project delivery goals.

Requires sufficient technical fluency to engage in engineering discussions, translate project goals into actionable roadmaps, and drive cross-functional delivery across Infrastructure, Application Development, and Data Platform teams

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery of cloud migration initiatives, from initial planning and readiness assessment through cutover and stabilization.
• Planning & Execution: Develop and maintain clear project plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, ownership, and key decision points.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with engineering, infrastructure, platform, security, and application teams to ensure migration readiness and alignment across workstreams.
• Risk & Dependency Management: Identify and manage risks, cross-team dependencies, and potential delivery constraints early in the project lifecycle.
• Readiness Reviews: Facilitate regular reviews to assess migration readiness, address emerging issues, and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
• Issue & Schedule Analysis: Lead structured analysis of delivery issues and schedule variance to identify underlying contributing factors and improvement opportunities.
• Continuous Improvement: Ensure corrective actions and lessons learned are incorporated into future migration planning and execution.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience managing technology, infrastructure, platform, or cloud-related projects.
• Strong project management capabilities across planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues beyond immediate symptoms and identify underlying delivery gaps.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks and proactively address potential constraints before they impact key milestones.
• Comfortable working across multiple technical teams and navigating competing priorities and dependencies.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous delivery environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical delivery challenges into clear project and business impact.

Preferred Experience

Exposure to cloud migration or infrastructure transformation initiatives would be advantageous, including areas such as:

• Data centre to cloud migration
• Application and workload migration
• Infrastructure and platform dependencies
• Network and security readiness
• Data migration
• Testing and validation
• Cutover and rollback planning
• Production readiness and stabilization

The role does not require hands-on engineering expertise. The focus is on ensuring that migration activities are well planned, risks are surfaced early, dependencies are managed effectively, and delivery issues result in measurable process improvement.
