Full Time Engineer, Electrical and Automation Jobs, in Mac Food Services (M) Negeri Sembilan - Maukerja

Role Overview
This position is based at our manufacturing facility in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan and is best suited to an engineer who enjoys working close to operations, solving equipment reliability challenges and improving automated production systems. You will take ownership of electrical and automation performance across the plant, supporting both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the reliability and performance of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLC, SCADA, HMI, drives, sensors and industrial control systems to minimise downtime.
• Develop and optimise automation solutions, control strategies and system configurations to improve operational efficiency.
• Support plant upgrades, automation projects and Industry 4.0 initiatives from design through implementation.
• Maintain technical documentation, electrical schematics and engineering standards.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements, audits, risk assessments and regulatory standards.
• Partner with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency and plant performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, automation or industrial control systems within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of SCADA, HMI, VFDs, servo motors, DCS, instrumentation and electrical power distribution systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SAP and industrial communication protocols.
• Exposure to robotics, IoT, Industry 4.0 technologies or automation certifications will be an advantage.
• Willing to support flexible working hours when required.

Experience:

• Electrical engineering: 3 years (Preferred)
