Full Time Accountant (2-year contract) Jobs, in Energy Market Company - Maukerja

The accountant reports to the Manager of Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in compiling information to support the revenue regime negotiations
• Assist in compiling supporting invoices for exogenous claims
• Support the implementation and user testing of the InvoiceNow project, which includes ensuring accuracy of the UEN/GST registration numbers for the customer and vendor masters and resolving any gaps during the gap analysis of the mandatory fields.
• Assist in preparing audit confirmation on customer balances
• Assist in monthly review of AR aging
• Assist in processing customer billing and receipts
• Create pdf invoice (adobe writer will be required to edit the information)
• Assist in handling manual updates in Business Central for retail platform transactions and updating Retail Platform team when payment received.
• Assist in handling manual updates in Business Central for sale of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECS) and ensure matching of purchases of RECS
• Assist in preparing balance sheet schedules and reconciliation
• Assist manager in any other administrative task as required
• Involved in provision of supporting information for auditors
• Assist to cover the accountant / accounts executive’s duties in their absence

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA
• Minimally 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles (Preferably AR/AP)
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience with Business Central accounting system and prior system implementation experience will be an added advantage.
