ROLE DESCRIPTION


The individual is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil and structural works for data centre design and build projects. The role will involve working closely with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure works are carried out safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Assist the Project Manager & Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising civil and structural works on site.
Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve site and technical issues.
Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, schedule, and quality standards.
Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and other project documentation.
Ensure proper coordination between civil, structural, architectural, M&E, and other trade works.
Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Support material planning, delivery coordination, and site resource tracking.
Assist in reviewing subcontractor claims, variation works, and progress measurements where required.
Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with company EHS policies, MOM/WSH requirements, and project safety standards.


JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction projects.
  • Experience in data centre, industrial, commercial, or large-scale building projects will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction works.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.
