AVP, Internal Audit — Investment Banking (APAC) - Big 4 Candidates Welcome!

A leading global Investment Bank is looking for a sharp, credible internal auditor to take on full-scope audits across Asia Pacific — from front-to-back business processes to risk, compliance, and support functions. This isn't box-ticking. You'll be designing tailor-made testing programs, uncovering real weaknesses, and writing recommendations senior stakeholders actually act on.

What you'll do:

• Lead full-scope audits of business lines: strategy, governance, profitability, controls, HR, and beyond
• Run risk, compliance, and regulatory audits — plus support function reviews
• Build and execute custom testing programs to expose risk before it becomes a problem
• Write audit reports that are clear, sharp, and impossible to ignore
• Present sensitive findings to senior management — and hold your ground
• Track recommendations through to resolution
• Help shape how the audit function itself evolves

What you bring:

• 6+ years in internal audit within Corporate & Investment Banking (front office/risk/control experience a strong plus)
• Master's or postgrad in Finance, Economics, or Banking — CFA/FRM/MBA/audit certifications a bonus
• Sharp front-to-back understanding of CIB activities: risk, finance, accounting, operations
• The nerve to challenge difficult stakeholders — and the polish to do it well
• Bonus points: familiarity with HK, Singapore, or China regulatory frameworks
