Full Time Lead Specialist – GIPS Operations Team Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in Technology Bucket (M) Federal Territory - Maukerja

Responsibilities:

• Good understanding and experience of Fund Accounting including Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation.
• Excellent knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives and private equity.
• Knowledge & experience of booking of cash and security trades for all types of asset classes.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg & experience of booking various Corporate Actions.
• Ability to perform and review daily Cash and Position reconciliations, investigate breaks, ensure timelyescalations to relevant parties, and resolve breaks by posting necessary adjustments.
• Daily communication and oversight of IBOR and BBG application tasks.
• Track all internal and external limits and escalate breaches to management.
• Investigate trade break queries raised by the Back office, analyze trade booking/recaps, amend trades in riskmanagement & work with the front office to assess PNL impact.
• Liaise with an internal and external audit to manage follow-up on audit issues and ensure smooth audit completion.
• Take ownership and accountability to complete BAU within agreed timelines.
• Previous engagement in projects and testing would be considered an advantage.

Requirement:

• Graduation or Post-graduation in Accounting and Investment field.
• 5-10 years of working experience in investment operations and middle office.
• A thorough understanding of fund accounting and trade booking and settlement, corporate actions, cash andposition reconciliation, valuation, and net asset value calculations.
• Prior experience working with insurance company and mutual fund is preferred.
• Taking ownership and accountability to complete the tasks within agreed timelines is a must.
• Advanced Excel knowledge.
• Microsoft Team, Flow, share point, Microsoft BI knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong team player and has the capacity to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teams.
• Must have the ability to work independently and to proactively seek guidance from others as needed.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
• Creative and open to new ideas
• Good numerical and statistical skills

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
