You assist in providing timely and accurate assessments of the geo-strategic and security-related developments to support informed decision-making.

What You Will Be Working On
- Monitor defence and security-related developments in the region and the world
- Sense-make the developments within the existing geo-political context
- Conduct research and analysis to fill information gaps and validate preliminary assessments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure assessments are well-substantiated and comprehensive
- Produce written assessment papers to communicate findings and analytical judgements
Challenge(s) - Maintaining a current and nuanced appreciation of complex geo-strategic and security-related developments across multiple regions simultaneously
- Synthesising diverse and occasionally incomplete information into timely, accurate, and well-reasoned written assessments
- Education in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant experience in research, analysis, or a related field, with exposure to geo-strategic or security-related subject matter is preferred
- Strong analytical and sense-making skills
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Good appreciation of geo-strategic and security-related developments
